Unfunny and uninforming ‘documentary’ about a guy trying to stay stoned for thirty days. Mostly just a showcase of Benson’s pot-related standup. Skip It.
Oh, Romero, how far the mighty have fallen? By far the worst in his Dead series, and I even enjoyed Land for what it’s worth. Skip It.

Unfunny, but somewhat charming story about a guy stuck in a rut. I’ve never really enjoyed Silverman or Garlin so that could be why I didn’t like it. Skip It.
Another crappy Japanese horror remake. When will they realize that cheap scares does not a good movie make. Skip It.

A muddled political drama. I didn’t care about the characters, and as such, didn’t care about the story. Skip It.
Interesting Premise. Not so interesting movie. There were a couple moments that really gave me chills, but those few moments didn’t help the story. Rent It.

Penelope
I couldn’t tell whether this movie was trying to be a drama or a comedy about beauty as we see it. Too muddled trying to find its place. Skip It.
Beowulf
Animation was good. The take on the epic story of Beowulf kept most of the story in tact while managing to change things to make it unique. Rent It.

Being from the south, this movie seemed a bit too southern to me. No one really acts like that. It was a decent story, but the characters weren’t that great. Skip It.

A pretty good Disney movie. The nods to the classic Disney formula were hilarious, and although corny, it felt accepted in itself. Great movie. Buy It.
27 Dresses
A decent romantic comedy. It’s not by any means bad, but it doesn’t try anything new and ends up just run of the mill. Rent it.
Step Up 2 the Streets

RT: First off, what made you decide this project was the one?

I didn’t understand the buzz around this film. Maybe because I’m not in the business world. The end was good but the film as a whole could have been better. Rent It.
We Own the Night
Started out good but quickly died. Some of the cops are so incompetent that I could’ve made a better force. The ending is laughably bad. Skip It.

Cinema Scope for 2nd Week of March 2008
Submitted by CinemaScope on Mon, 03/31/2008 - 23:41.Since this is the first outing for this weekly article, I’ll do a little explaining of my methods. These are going to be mini-reviews of 25 words or less of all the movies I watch in a particular week.
First up is:
Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything: A Veggietales Movie
I’m normally a fan of the Veggietales stuff. However, this movie lacks of any fun that made the series great. Skip It.
Run Lola Run (Lola Rennt)
CinemaScope's Top 10 for 2007
Submitted by CinemaScope on Thu, 02/07/2008 - 01:33.Hi, CinemaScope here to bring you my top ten for the year 2007. To clarify, these are the top ten movies that I have seen during the past year, either released in theaters or on DVD. Granted, I’ve missed out on some good ones, but I think my list stands strong. These films stand in no particular order because, in my opinion, it is very hard to rank one movie above another. So here it goes, top ten movies that I’ve seen in 2007.
