Bruce Campbell in 'Burn Notice' - Photo courtesy & copyright NBC/UniversalWhen you think of Bruce Campbell, most remember the slapstick horror classic "The Evil Dead" and it’s two sequels, “Evil Dead II” and “Army of Darkness.” Many B-movie schlockfests followed, not to mention cameos in all three “Spider-Man” movies, directed by “Evil Dead” director Sam Raimi.
Now, thanks to the hit USA Network summer series “Burn Notice”—now entering it’s third season—Campbell fans can now chalk ex-military man Sam Axe to his popular and talented repertoire.
Sam Axe is a former friend of main character Michael Westen (Michael Donovan), a blacklisted former CIA operative who, at the conclusion of last season, finally found freedom from those who burned him. With the aid of Sam and on-again/off-again girlfriend Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar), Michael helps average citizens with insurmountable problems using his covert brand of Good Samaritan kindness.

Before I get ding in, allow me to introduce myself, a new staff writer for Hollywood Snitch. My name is Matt Sheehan, a JJC "PhD." alumnus and former freelance critic of the Morris Daily Herald. I am pleased and happy to join Rilio in the site. Now, this Sunday, on NBC at 8p/7c, the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards returns, after last year's silly stupid yet unsurprising pseudo-news conference ceremony due to the writer's strike. And since the stars will be there, the booze will flow as much as the slurred speeches from stars' lips.
