Picture
Synopsis: Here they are - MORE Looney Tunes, MORE Merrie Melodies, MORE laughs, now restored and on Blu-ray disc at long last. By popular demand, these are the rarest titles, the biggest stars, the most requested cartoons, direct from the Looney Tunes vault.
Main Features: There are 50 beautifully restored Looney Tunes shorts on this set. I grew up, thankfully, in a time when these were still on Saturday morning rotation. I may not be a morning person now, but maybe that's because they took them off the air (for the most part) and I found no further reason to wake up early. But I digress. Either way, this collector's vault volume. Porky's Duck Hunt is a particular favorite, with Daffy Duck making is debut; and Rhapsody Rabbit with our pal Bugs Bunny in his best formal wear at a piano. Also of note is 1942's Horton Hatches the Egg, a Dr. Suess collaboration. Some of the shorts provided fond memories of when I first viewed them while others were first-time viewings. Either way, they are presented in their original uncut form and in wonderful HD display.

Bonus Features: The main features are the sole occupier of the discs. No extras, and with this being another Warner Bros. on-demand Blu-ray, no digital code is included.

Final Call: Hopefully with recent releases of Bugs & Co, hopefully that's not all, folks, with "Looney Tunes: Collector's Vault Vol. 1" being the next entry in continued releases.

Grade: B+
