The 2019 edition of the Wizard World Chicago Comic-Con will be making a big splash Aug. 22-25 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill.
The headlining guest will be "Aquaman" and "Game of Thrones" star Jason Mamoa, available for photo ops and autographs with fans. No panel schedule has been announced, but I'm almost certain he will be having one to discuss his "GoT" lineage and new hit DC Comics take on the venerable underwater character.

Also, in a definite not inconceivable possibility, "Princess Bride" stars Cary Elwes and Chris Sarandon will be on-hand for fans. Expect panels from these guys as they discuss their careers, including Elwes' recent resurgence with the first "Saw" film and latest season of "Stranger Things."

"Gotham" may have ended, but co-stars (and real-life couple) Morena Baccarin and Ben McKenzie will also be on-hand for the fans of the acclaimed DC Comics adaptation of Batman characters. Plus, Deadpool fans will be able to interact with Baccarin, the Merc with a Mouth's love interest.

In a unique convention appearance, Chicago's own George Wendt will be on-hand for photos and signings. Best known for TV's "Cheers," Wendt will no doubt also be seeing plenty of SNL Superfan cosplay on the convention floor.

TV icon and (finally!) Emmy-winner Henry Winkler will be returning to the windy city Wizard World stop of the con tour after joining a year or two ago.

Other guests include original Hulk, Lou Ferrigno; pro wrestler Lisa Marie Varon (WWE's Victoria); actor Dean Cain of "Lois and Clark" fame; "Rookie of the Year" and "American Pie" actor Thomas Ian Nicholas; the original teenage witch Melissa Joan Hart; and veteran Batman animated voice actor Kevin Conroy. Additions and cancellations are subject to change, so keep an eye on Wizard World's website as we get closer to the event.

In the meantime, check out the gallery below from our 2017 coverage of Wizard World Chicago. And keep your eyes open for our coverage of the 2019 event!

Admission tickets, photo op/autograph vouchers, and VIP packages are now for sale via wizardworld.com.
