The convention formerly known as Wizard World makes it's return to Chicago at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill. for it's third episode with a plethora of appearances, events, and panels. The show opens Friday, August 16, 2024 thru Sunday, August 18, 2024.

The 2021 edition of the Chicago Critics Film Festival returns after a Covid-induced postponement of the 2020 edition. Unlike in years past going a full week, the 2021 edition will be a weekend long affair, abbreviated, but still to be held at the beautiful Music Box Theater on the north side of Chicago, this Friday, November 12 through Sunday, November 14.

​One thing remains constant after all these years: the CCFF is the only known film festival curated, programmed and operated by a critics organization. 

Wizard World Chicago landed for 2019's show a few weeks ago. While the wattage of stars has dwindled, this year still showcased some magical appearances.

The Ace Universe made its debut in Chicago last year with the Midwest convention debut at Navy Pier. For 2019, they have a new venue and up the ante 3,000 with the guest list.

The 2019 edition of the Wizard World Chicago Comic-Con will be making a big splash Aug. 22-25 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill.
